Tour runs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Depicted is the path to the bridge through the wooded section of the trail known as the “Connelly Tract.” The path runs along an abandoned rail bed, which is still visible amid the underbrush. At the end of the path is a sharp left turn, marked by a tagged plate girder leading onto the bridge. From there, depicted are scenes along the abandoned tracks that run atop the Towpath Bridge.
The meeting place for the beginning (and ending) of the tour is the Public Gathering Space at the entry point to the Pencoyd Bridge, which is at the end of Righters Ferry Road at the Schuylkill River, adjacent to the historically-restored offices of Penn Realty.

Held on Trevor Lane in In Lower Merion's Cynwyd neighborhood, this annual tradition has been going on since 1981. Terrific planning and coordination this year by Lindsey Goldberg, plus beautiful fall weather and the usual assembly of super-friendly neighbors helped make this year's party continue this string of memorable and uniquely enjoyable Trevor-Llandrillo events! Way to go, party team, and thanks to Lindsey, Jill, and all the neighbors who brought great goodies to the party for making it such a success.
Note the newly paved driveway leading from the trail to the cemetery, completing the link to the Pencoyd Bridge and Manayunk.
